Ivar the Boneless

Ivar the Boneless was among the most powerful and cunning kings who turned the vision of the Vikings from hit and run attacks into large invasion into other kingdoms. The only thing about Ivar was he was described as a disabled who could not walk properly on his feet which coined his nickname of Boneless. But he did not back down but walk far further than those who could walk. Ivar overcame all obstacles and social barriers to become a great Viking king.

Ragnar Lothrbok

If you are a Viking enthusiast, no more words to explain who Ragnar was. Long story short, he was a powerful Viking legendary king. Allegedly, the attack of Lindisfarne was carried out by Ragnar Lothbrok as a counter-attack to the Christians who wanted to make the Vikings submit to the cross. Lindisfarne's attack aimed at the land of holiness in Northumbria. This attack sent a wave of shock and fear toward the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Ragnar the King did prove them wrong. 

Lagertha

Lagertha was among the most powerful and awesome Viking shieldmaidens back in the Viking age. Although we don't know whether she was a historical or legendary warrior, she rocked. Some sources mentioned she fought even more bravely than the men and this won the heart of Ragnar. Like Lagertha, Viking women were kinda independent and every female wanted to prove themselves in the society. 

Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye

Sigurd, unlike his brothers, was born with a mark in his eye. Once, this mark did embarrass him in front of the people. The mark inside his eye was the mark of Fafnir the Dragon whom his father slew. When he came up age, he realized that the mark was a blessing for him for it was his unique mark and he could never find the second one who had a similar mark.
